Requesting Reasonable Accommodation

Workplace adjustments are often misunderstood as expensive or complex.

In reality, many are small changes: flexible hours, written instructions, or adjusted deadlines.

When requesting adjustments, be specific. Employers respond better to “I work best with…” than “I struggle with…”. It shifts the conversation towards productivity, not limitation.
